Because I'm still working out how Rika's head works in some ways, and because Lambda's essay made me think about some things.

Long story short, Rika is crazy, and CFUW exacerbates that terribly and brings out and also wow are she and Lambda gay and also screwed up. This essay is long enough to need to be divided up into sections just so I can have a clue what I'm talking about, okay.

Updating Rika
Jul. 22nd, 2010 02:42 pmSo, the last Higurashi game finally just came out in English a week or so ago, and I finished reading it the other day. This will mean a few changes in how I play her, since before that I preferred the games, but since the anime was the only complete version of the canon and most of Rika's real personality showed late, I played primarily from that and supplemented from the others! This will probably be changing, though I'll be keeping my anime icons because the game art sucks.
( Cut for vague spoilers and the fact that you probably don't want to read me thinking out loud )In other, completely unrelated news! I am going to start trying to get off the computer by either 9 or 10, since it tends to take me at least an hour after I get off the computer to go to sleep and I wake up at...well, 6 but my alarm's set for five and I'd like to wake up at five rather than continually waking up at 6:15 and going ACK OUT THE DOOR NOW ACK. So if you see me on IRC after 10 PST, please kick me.
